What is IV Therapy?
IV Therapy, also known as intravenous therapy, is a medical service in which fluids, medications, or nutrients are delivered directly into the bloodstream through a vein. IV Therapy can provide a faster and more efficient way to deliver treatments to the body.
Is IV Therapy Safe?
Yes, IV vitamin therapy is safe and has been around for decades. All our ingredients come from FDA approved compounding pharmacies and our protocols are formulated by our Doctor of Pharmacy. The infusions are administered by our trained Registered Nurses using antiseptic techniques to prevent introduction of microorganisms. Before an infusion, our RNs will review your health history and will be monitored for the duration of the infusion. We will also follow up with our clients to evaluate their outcomes. Although risk occur very rarely, they do exist. Risks include infection, blood clots, bruising, pain, swelling, fainting (usually due to triggers), and burning at the infusion site.
How often should I do IV Therapy?
IV Therapy can be done as often as weekly. Depending on your goals, we recommend doing IV Therapy at least once a month.
Can I do IV Therapy if I'm pregnant?
Yes! For our pregnant mommas, we understand that morning sickness is an issue and makes it difficult to keep anything down. Persistent vomiting can lead to dehydration and loss of essential vitamins and nutrients, which interferes with the health of the mom and the baby. Please contact us to schedule a consultation prior to receiving treatment.
